PPS is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector for our full-service metal fabrication and manufacturing facility in Bedford. This is a full-time permanent Direct Hire role with a highly competitive salary, benefits, and high ceiling for growth!

Responsibilities:  

• Conduct thorough inspections of manufactured products to ensure they meet company standards and customer expectations
• Read blueprints, schematics, or drawings to ensure products meet customer specs
• Perform quality testing on products using precision measurement instruments, hand tools, and the like
• Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process products, and final product for defects
• Ability to recognize defects and deviations and recommend repair or discard
• Notate defects and effectively communicate issues with other departments
• Work closely with other departments to improve the manufacturing processes and meet quality assurance goals

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• Quality Control, Inspection, and Quality Management skills
• Excellent communication skills to work with other departments
• Attention to detail and ability to identify defects and discrepancies
• Experience in a metal fabrication or similar manufacturing environment
• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or equivalent certification is preferred
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality management systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
