We are looking for a dedicated and accountable Test and Service Technician to join our first shift team! We are a global manufacturer of temperature control systems for a wide array of manufacturing industries.

Job Description:

As a Tester/Service Technician you are dedicated to ensuring the optimal performance of a variety of process temperature control equipment. your expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of systems, including Central Chillers, Hot Oil Units, Hot Water Systems, Natural Refrigerants, Mixer Systems, Portable Chillers, and Ancillaries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Testing: Conduct comprehensive tests on temperature control equipment to guarantee peak performance.
• Electrical Inspection: Inspect electrical components, fuses, and wiring connections in accordance with shop schematics.
• Piping Verification: Verify all piping arrangements against Piping and Instrument Diagram (P&ID) prints.
• Leak Detection: Identify and repair any leaks within the systems to maintain operational integrity.
• Controller Programming: Program controllers to the correct set points for efficient operation.
• Safety Assurance: Confirm the functionality of all safety devices to ensure a safe working environment.
• Repair & Maintenance: Perform necessary repairs and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Documentation: Document all test results and repair actions using computer software to maintain accurate records.
Achievements:
• Enhanced the reliability of process temperature control equipment through meticulous testing and maintenance.
• Successfully identified and resolved critical system leaks, improving system efficiency and safety.
• Developed and implemented a streamlined process for documenting test results, increasing departmental productivity.

Requirements:

HVAC or Industrial Trade degree
High School Diploma or GED
Thorough understanding of HVAC systems to conduct regular preventative maintenance schedules.
2 – 5 years’ experience in the industrial sector
Valid Driver’s License
Able to work independently, remain on task and on schedule.
Able to read and interpret written reference material.
Detail Oriented
Strong Communication Skills
Able to move, lift, carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
