PPS provides only exceptional drivers for our positions. All of our drivers are rigorously screened for experience and qualification. We verify a minimum of two years driving experience, drug test, and perform a meticulous background check, including criminal and motor vehicle records for each of the driver’s states of licensure in the prior three years. BOSS is branch of the PPS family that commands background screening efforts. All drivers on our payroll are background screened bi-monthly and drug tested before job start as well as randomly thereafter.

With that knowledge, we take the extra time during our interview process to uncover their true experience level. PPS has a large consortium of Class A CDL drivers. We are committed to providing only the best service, including eleventh-hour emergency situations. Our specialty is contract-to-hire as well as placing drivers on “casual” status. As a result, we have an interminable roster of drivers for situations such as call-offs, vacations and medical leaves.

A Notice For All Drivers

Texting while driving is extremely dangerous. According to Ohio law, it is illegal to text while driving, as written in the Ohio Revised Code:

Ohio Revised Code 4511.204 Driving While Texting:
A) No person shall drive a motor vehicle, trackless trolley, or streetcar on any street, highway, or property open to the public for vehicular traffic while using a handheld electronic wireless communications device to write, send, or read a text-based communication.
The operation of a mobile phone in this manner will result in a misdemeanor and fine.
