PPS is seeking a mechanically inclined individual for a fantastic opportunity as a Straighten and Cut Machine Operator at our wiring manufacturing facility in North Royalton.  

This is a full-time permanent position with benefits and a high ceiling for growth!

Responsibilities:

• Obtain raw materials using tow motor
• Set up machine and materials for production
• Feed raw materials into machine
• Monitor operation and adjust machine as needed to meet customer specs
• Perform quality inspection using tape measure of finished product prior to moving to next stage in process to ensure customer’s specs are being met
• Report any issues to foreman
• Clean and organize work area
• Other duties as required

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• Ability to perform physical responsibilities such as lift, stand for long hours, crouch, pull/push, etc.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Previous machine operation experience
• High mechanical acumen- using hand/power tools
• Ability/previous experience using precision measurement instruments
• Basic math/calculation skills
• Previous experience using computer/keypad for data entry and machine adjustments
• Go-getter attitude and hunger for growth!
