Senior Electrical Controls Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Senior Electrical Controls Engineer with over 10 years of experience in electrical controls design, programming, and testing of automated equipment. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving machine automation efforts and developing control solutions that meet both customer and internal specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement advanced electrical control systems software for automation machinery.

• Work with PLC & HMI programming, robotic systems, and industrial machine vision systems.

• Integrate hardware components such as robots, motion controllers, sensors, load cells, and lasers to complete automation tasks.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality results.

• Manage projects to ensure on-time and on-budget machine delivery.

• Assist mechanical engineering teams with robotics, pneumatics, servo motion systems, and vision systems.

• Support machine assembly, de-bug, acceptance testing, on-site installation, startup, and customer training.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• 10+ years of senior-level electrical engineering experience.

• Extensive hands-on experience in:

  • PLC and HMI programming

  • Servo control and motion systems

  • Electrical design for automation systems

  • Machine vision systems and robotics

• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, LabView, MatLab, microcontrollers, or robotic programming is a plus.

• Strong decision-making, communication, and project coordination skills.

• Ability to travel to support projects (up to 10%).
