JOB DESCRIPTION

General Assemblers are responsible for performing assembly work utilizing standardized procedures to produce quality medical devices in a controlled work environment. The work requires good manual dexterity, good vision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with others as a cohesive team.

SKILLS REQUIRED

– Work with a team assembling medical devices (subassemblies or final assemblies)

– Rotate through tasks for specific production processes.

– Prepare finished products for shipment.

– Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

– Handle and evaluate quality of small parts during manufacturing processes.

– Troubleshoot simple equipment malfunctions.

– Promote and support safe working equipment.

– Clean room environment – no jewelry, makeup, acrylic nails or fuzzy sweaters

– Inform team lead/supervisor of any problems pertaining to production, parts, equipment, or processes.

PREVIOUS EXPRIENCE REQUIRED

– Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields.

– Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment.

– Able to work in a controlled clean room environment.

– Able to work effectively with others in a team environment.

– Non Smoking Facility or on Premise

– Drug Free Workplace

– Valid Driver License

– Reliable, Dependable and Strong Work Ethic
