Manual Machinist – 1st Shift  – 176A

$18.00 – $ 20.00 an hour

The Manual Machinist will be planning and performing simple machining operations and will be required to do all set-ups of the machines. You will producing replacement parts and making repairs to existing parts. You would mainly be operating Engine Lathes and Radial Drill Presses.

* Experience in machine shop work and/or tool room work.

* Must have strong blueprint skills.

* Experience with set-up and shop calculations relating to dimensions, tooling and feeds and speeds of machining.

* Experience with mics and calipers.

* Experience machining A36 Carbon Steel and A514.

*Experience with Cranes and tow motors.
