CNC Machinist (Engineering Department)

We have an opportunity on 2nd and 3rd shift for a CNC machinist/programmer to join our engineering team. Our CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Programmer is responsible for programming and operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, setting up CNC machines, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of the produced parts. The CNC Engineering Programmer works closely with the engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve production efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Recommended minimum 8 years of CNC machining in Manufacturing or Machine Operation work experience.
- Able to develop full process set-up (mechanical, tooling, fixturing, programming)
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and mathematical competencies
- Possesses mastery level knowledge of metal or graphite cutting processes
- Experience in training others in machining disciplines
- Has a mastery of inspection gages including; calipers, micrometers, thread gages, go / no-go gages, and others
